Girl Scouts Heart of Central California Soar into Aerospace Museum Expo

Rio Linda, CA. – Girl Scouts Heart of Central California (GSHCC) invites girls of all ages to embark on a space odyssey at their upcoming Girl Scout Expo! Held at the Aerospace Museum on Saturday, October 5th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, the expo promises a day filled with exploration, hands-on activities, and the chance to discover the exciting world of Girl Scouts.

Unleashing Curiosity and Leadership

Open to girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade, the expo will showcase the diverse range of Girl Scout programs available. From STEM and life skills to entrepreneurship and outdoor adventures, there’s something for every curious and adventurous mind. Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to meet GSHCC program partners, participate in engaging exhibits at the museum, and even interact with girl-led booths.

“Girl Scout Expo is designed to spark girls’ imaginations and ignite their passion for learning,” said Linda E. Farley, Ed.D., of GSHCC. “Through hands-on activities, interactive displays, and the Mobile STEM Center, girls can explore their own unique talents and dreams, while discovering the potential to become the fearless leaders of tomorrow.”

Joining the Adventure Made Easy

Registration for the Girl Scout Expo is simple! Girls can simply show up at the Aerospace Museum on the day of the event and register at the door. The program fee is $15 per girl, with free admission for accompanying adults. An added incentive: girls who attend the expo and decide to become Girl Scouts will have their membership fee waived!

For a fun and educational experience, attendees are recommended to wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes and bring a refillable water bottle and a hat for sun protection.
