Sacramento, CA (October 3, 2024) – The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District (Metro Fire) has placed a $415 million Fire & Emergency Response Bond Measure, Measure O, on the November 2024 ballot to address critical infrastructure needs and ensure continued public safety.
Why is Measure O Necessary?
The growing demands of our community have strained Metro Fire’s resources. Aging facilities, outdated equipment, and increased emergency call volumes have highlighted the urgent need for improvements. Key Priorities of Measure O:
